Basic Hosting

Whether you designed your site yourself or had it designed for you, hosting is something every website needs. It is your parking spot on the internet, where your files can be found by browsers such as Internet Explorer and Netscape.

Basic - $8.99 / month
* 25 MB web space
This tells you the total server space that your files can occupy. This is perfect for business card sites and sites that are not media-rich. (ie. movies, music, and streaming video sites should consider a High Traffic hosting package.)

* 1 GB bandwidth
This tells you the total file transfer your account is allowed before being moved up to the next hosting package. Few small sites go over 500 MB (half of 1GB) and if you do go over, you won't suddenly disappear off the internet, you'll be sent a notification of your package status change to the Basic PLUS package, for mid-sized sites.

* 10 email boxes
Let each of your employees enjoy an email account of their own or keep the addresses departmental (ie sales@yourdomain.com), it's your choice.
